Kawerau embrace updated technology
It is with gratitude that I send you this report on the results of our grant application for the projector and screen that now is installed at our church in Kawerau. 
This was quite a journey for our congregation as they had never applied for a grant from the church in many many years.
So after some discussion and visits we saw some movement and the process began. So as seen in the photos we have a large screen secured to the roof and permanently in place on the roof with our projector on a mobile trolley made by one of our members for ease of moving around.
Comments from the members were: The prayers and readings are now a lot easier to see. The music videos are clearer. Our church looks more modern from our visitors point of view. Having no musicians I am now able to use the music from other sources and I am not relying on overhead projectors. We have had visiting speakers come to our church and they bring with them PowerPoints and other presentations and we are now able to accommodate the visuals.
