GGTB Meeting July 2026
The GGTB met on 14 July 2026, via Teams. They then followed up with a meeting by email.
The following minor grants were approved at these meetings:
- LCNZ for the funding of a Project Manager for the Mission Directions; GGTB $8000
- St Pauls Upper Moutere for funding refurbishment of the church altar area and a fat trap for the kitchen; Hintz Fund $15,000
- St Pauls Christchurch for funding the Community Hub support; GGTB $8,000
- Francis He (St Pauls Wellington) for funding organ tutoring in preparation for playing in worship services; Dawn Corry Scholarship $1,000
- Mountainside Auckland for acoustic tiles; Hintz Fund $3942
- Mountainside Auckland for painting part of lower floor of building; GGTB $8,000
- Mountainside Auckland for replacing the flooring on part of lower floor of building; GGTB $8,000
GGTB remind all congregations that the 2027 major grant applications are open now and need to be filed with the GGTB by 31 August. The grants will be considered at the meeting of 8 September. Forms can be found on this page: Forms – Lutheran Church of New Zealand
