Three landmark anniversaries in the political history of Aotearoa are commemorated in 2025: 50 years since the Māori Land March, the establishment of the Waitangi Tribunal, and the Māori electoral roll option. A special series of free public events held at the National Library will reflect on the kaupapa, Mana Māori Motuhake – Māori rights and representation.
