CoS met on Teams on Tuesday 28 April
Manse Rectification Project
- The project has been materially completed.
- The project financial report will be finalised and along with a report on the work undertaken will is being prepared and sent to Synod Delegates and Congregations shortly.
- Ther property manager has been appointed, and the marketing plan is being prepared
Other matters considered over the period
- CoS received a copy of the Chinese Ministry Summit Handbook held at St peter’s Lutheran College, Indooroopilly, Queensland, on 19 – 21 March. this was supported by the LCA Local Mission Fund.
- CoS discussed continued membership of Vitae. Vitae are a national provider of workplace wellbeing and EAP Services. LCNZ are a founding member, and COS have agreed to continue the relationship.
- CoS received a proposal to sponsor and assist with running a LCNZ National Youth Camp. This is an ongoing conversation.
Mission Directions
- The original member approached to be the project manager has not moved forward on this. A new member has now been approached and they are in negotiation.
- Pr Phil Husband has been appointed as the congregational Life Ambassador position.
- Artwork, website and resources are now being developed.

- CoS are preparing to meet with LCANZ General Church Board later in the year.
