Ordination of Felix Tong
Felix is the Local Mission leader at Mountainside Lutheran Church in Auckland. He has been working with Pastor Nick Kitchen and Bishops Robert Bartholomaeus and Richard Schwedes as a Special Ministry candidate. The LCA College of Bishops have approved Felix for ordination as a Special Ministry Pastor. His ordination (followed by his installation) will be held at Mountainside Lutheran Church at 1 Harris Road, Mount Wellington on Saturday 7 February 2026 at 3pm. The LCA Bishop Paul Smith will officiate over the ordination and LCA NSW, ACT and LCNZ Bishop Richard Schwedes will officiate over the installation.
