Mark Tung ordained
Pastor Mark Tung was ordained as a Special Ministry Pastor by LCANZ Bishop Paul Smith on Sunday 6 April at St Columba’s Church in Botany.
Bishop Richard Schwedes (LCA NSW & ACT and LCNZ) installed Pastor Mark after the ordination. Pastor Mark will be a bi-vocational pastor at Botany Lutheran Church
where he has been the pastoral leader for a number of years.
The small chapel was full with family, congregation members, Council of Synod members and LCNZ pastors who were all there to support Pastor Mark in this monumental event in his life. The service was performed in English and Chinese. The service was followed by a congregation meal.
