Professional Standards Training Schedule August 2025
Professional Standards have introduced a number of changes this year.
These include
- the replacement of regionally based professional standards officers with a centralised Safe Church Training Officer – her name is Liz Ewers
- a complaints officer has been appointed –
- the updating of the training programmes,

It should also be noted that the LCA Convention of Synod being held Online on 18 October 2025 will consider a proposal to make changes to the Ecclesiastical Discipline System which will embed some of these and additional changes into the LCA Constitution and By-Laws.
