Joel Cramer installed in Wellington
The St Paul’s Wellington Lutheran Church celebrated with the Lutheran Church of New
Zealand with the arrival. welcome and installation of Pastor Joel Cramer on Sunday 2 February.
The church was filled with members of the congregation, visitors from around the Lutheran
Church of New Zealand family and local church and community members. The service was
led by Bishop Richard Schwedes.
Joel was presented with the vessels of office – bible, hymn book, baptismal font, communion
chalices, coffee ups and a map of Wellington – by members of the congregation.
Bishop Richards message was based on Equipped for Gods Mission (Eph 4:1-13).
Many of the visitors brought messages and greetings from the various ministries around
Wellington and Rev Andy Marr welcomed Joel and his family to the LCNZ on behalf of the
Council of Synod, Nicola Young (City Councillor for the central city Pukehīnau Lambton ward)
welcomed Joel and his family to the city.
