Gateway Gift Trust is looking for new members
The Trust Board is looking for additional Trustees to serve on its Board
The Gateway Gift Trust Board administers the funds in the Gateway Gift, which covers a number of funds setup to support the Lutheran Church of New Zealand. The list of funds can be found here: Forms – Lutheran Church of New Zealand
The board makes major grants once a year in September and October for the following financial year and minor grants on a quarterly basis.
The Trust Deed calls for between 6 and 10 Trustees. Currently there are six trustees, and this is considered insufficient for efficient oversight.
The Trust is looking for.
- Up to four additional members
- Must be confirmed members of a LCNZ Congregation
- Expertise in finance, investment, trust constitutions, or LCNZ Congregation or Parish administration would be most desired, but general church experience would also be considered.
- Please send a letter of application to GGTB Chairperson Andrew Mattiske (Andrew.mattiske@lutheran.org.nz) and copy to Bishop Richard Schwedes (bishop@lutheran.org.nz ) and the District Administrator (admin@lutheran.org.nz ) .
- A short interview process will be undertaken prior to making any recommendations for appointment.
