Significant items that were discussed included:

• Members of CoS are now sharing “A minute for mission” items from their local ministry areas, including church, family and communities at every meeting.
• The Consolidated Financial Statements and Audit Report for the year ended 31 December 2023 were presented and approved by CoS.  They show the following summarised results:  Gross income                      $891,317        (FY2022    $271,042)
  Total expenses                    $442,448       (FY2022    $964,513)
  Net Surplus (deficit)         $448,870       (FY2022 ($693,471))
  Net cash flows:                   $(343,825)    (FY2022    $260,933)
• LCNZ Convention of Synod 2025 has been confirmed as being held in Auckland at Mountainside Lutheran Church on 20 to 22 June 2025.
• The Bishop’s manse in Wellington is needing some work on it to bring it to a better standard.  The initial project definition work has been confirmed to commence.
• A number of significant items were deferred for an additional meeting on 11 June, to ensure that the GGTB annual general meeting could be held the same day.
