From Bishop elect – Pastor Richard Schwedes
How are you going in the Gospel adventure God has placed you in and called you to? I pray there is joy, some surprises and some comfort from God.
As Bishop Rob and I continue meeting together for a handover, I am very thankful to see and hear how God is working throughout our districts. I look forward to this adventure with God and you, as we continue being God’s light of love, hope and forgiveness among the people we meet.
I look forward to worshipping with you, either in person or online, at the Installation Service of Bishop on Sunday 28 July at 3pm at LifeWay Lutheran Church Epping. (see the invitation from the LCA NSW & ACT District Office for details). We will continue with the theme…. It’s all about Jesus.
I again will be visiting New Zealand between 4 to 22 September for the Way Forward gathering presentations, to listen to and encourage congregational leaders and pastors and pray with them.
