NOTICE of the 40th CONVENTION OF SYNOD
7th to 9th June 2019 at St Matthew Lutheran Church Hamilton
The 40th Convention of Synod will be held from the 7th to the 9th June 2019. The host congregation will be St Matthew Lutheran Church, Hamilton, and sessions of the convention will be held at St Matthew, 27 Abbotsford Street, Whitiora, Hamilton.

BEFORE THE CONVENTION OF SYNOD ON THE FRIDAY EVENING

Friday 7th June
5.00-7.15pm Gathering and Registration
7.30-9.00pm Lutheran Layman’s League (LLL) AGM (Finger food, drinks and nibbles provided)
Saturday 8th June
8.30-9.15am Registration continues (Cuppa provided)
9.30-6.00pm Opening Worship
Convention Sessions
6.30-9.00pm Convention Dinner (Hamilton Gardens, Hungerford Crescent, Hamilton East)
Sunday 9th June
10.00am Convention Worship with Holy Communion
11.30-12.30pm Lunch
12.30-2.30pm LCNZ Mission / Ministry Focus
02.40-3.00pm Closing Worship
Attendance
All members of congregations of the LCNZ are invited and encouraged to attend Convention as visitors to show their interest in and support for the life of the Lutheran Church of New Zealand. Visitors should also register their attendance at Convention to assist the planning of catering.
The Attendance Form has more details about catering, travel and accommodation. Each person attending the Convention should complete an Attendance Form and return them to the LCNZ office by 30th April 2019 (form is attached below). Once you have registered, please email the LCNZ office lcnzadmin@lutheran.org.nz stating:
a) Where they are staying
b) Whether they need transport in Hamilton
