DESCRIPTION:The LCNZ are holding gatherings in September 2024 to discuss the LCANZ Convention of Synod proposal to enable the ordination of women.  The proposal will be presented to the LCA Convention of Synod which is being held in Adelaide\, SA between 4 and 7 October 2024.  For details of the proposal and the Convention please go to:  Convention of General Synod 2024 – LCANZ    The gatherings are being timed in conjunction with Bishop Richard Schwede’s visit to New Zealand.  Bishop Richard will lead the gatherings and be supported by Council of Synod and other LCNZ leaders. \nThe second zone meeting will be held as follows: \nFielding Lutheran Church\nCnr King and West Streets\nFielding \nDebbie Venz at LCNZ 021 223 2743 \nThe Central Zone Gathering is open to all members\, lay delegates\, pastors and church council members from Manawatu Parish (Palmerston North and Fielding congregations) and Marton\, Whanganui\, and Hawkes Bay congregations (and others if this suits best).
