Lutheran Church of Australia
The Lutheran Church of New Zealand (LCNZ) is part of the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA). We are a district (or diocese) of the LCA, yet because we operate in a different country, we are also a national church with a kiwi identity. Most of our pastors were trained at Australian Lutheran College in Adelaide, formerly known as Luther Seminary.
The LCNZ President is part of the LCA’s College of Presidents, General Church Council, and Commission on Theology and Inter-Church Relations.
